OFCCP to Issue New CSAL Letter “Soon”

The OFCCP has announced that a new “Supply & Service Scheduling List” (CSAL) will be issued this year. This is their official notice to selected federal contractors of an EEO audit. The audit is very labor-intensive for the employer, requiring 2 years’ worth of employees’ pay data. In addition to the pay data, contractors are advised to ensure that their entire employment process is free of bias – meaning conduct your own audit to catch problems before the OFCCP does. All managers and supervisors who are involve in the recruitment/hiring/on-boarding process should be reminded of the company’s EEO obligations.
