Best Benefits Combination?

An employee survey by Perceptyx states that 59 percent of the 1500 employees surveyed said they had “benefits envy” of employer-provided healthcare coverage provided to friends or neighbors. The combination of medical, maternity and mental healthcare coverage was labeled as the “Magic Trifecta” because that combination enables both men and women to feel that their needs are met. Of those 1500, however, 53% said they do not have mental health coverage, 51% do not have maternity coverage, and 25% do not have any medical coverage. 

According to the survey, men were 1.5 more likely than women to say their benefits met their needs, which is not very surprising based on the actual coverages described above.
